Fricke. As a reminder, most of our
board game GMs do not schedule their events. With an
average monthly attendance of 35, there is plenty of activity for gamers. Feel free to bring a copy of your favorite
game or you are always welcome to play in one of ours. Due to the space and
time commitments of miniatures, hosts of these events are encouraged to contact
Roland to guarantee space and time
availability.

9 AM Title- Forrest of the
Damned: World War 1, 1918 Host: Jared Fishman Rules- Square Bashing Description- This is another WW1
scenario based around a major offensive but not really a historical refight. It is the
Spring of 1918. The Germans have launched
Operation Micheal.
In a matter of days, the German stormtroopers
bit through miles and miles of British trenches using a combination of short
hurricane bombardments and infiltration tactics. General von Hutier
and company were successful in doing the one thing that all commanders
desperately sought...a breakthrough into open country. We will be recreating a fight in which the
devastated British 5th army is forced to dig hasty trenches in the vicinity
of a dead forrest, hoping that the wood will provide
extra cover for the coming German onslaught.
Can they hold out long enough for a Franco-British relief force to
save the day? Or will 18th army
commander General von Hutier and his stormtroopers finish the job they started? We will see.... Players-

Title: Trouble in the Med Host: Tom Cusa Rules: Shipbase III Description: After much prodding Shipbase III will make its
triumphant return to the CGC. 1916, and
the Austro-Hungarian navy has decided to put it all on the line by breaking
out into the med. An allied task group
of Brits and French has formed up to try and stop them. As we will be using the little boats there
might be some maneuvering before the guns open up. |
